This weekend we took a trip down south to Gloucester to see other halves new nephew. I’m pleased to report he is gorgeous and his nursery is suitably bright and colourful! Even with the focus on family and babies, I still found a bit of time to spot a few things to blog about.
We were staying in an Ibis, which I think manages to do a far better job with interior design than some of the other chain hotels out there. I am a fan of their bathroom pods by Baudet, the only negative is that the Ibis design is a bit too white for my personal taste. They make fantastic use of space and despite being smaller than some ensuites, manage to feel more spacious. The shower is twice the size of the one I have at home!
I wasn’t the only one admiring the Ibis interiors. Other half spotted these fantastic two tone chairs, mainly because he loves anything red!
I couldn’t help but also mention the pink house we spotted for sale just around the corner. It might not be quite in the league of the Long Island house, but it stood out in the middle of Gloucester! It looks like it could do with a lick of paint, so I suspect the next owners may take it down a tone or two.
